Advisor agreement
What listing here does and does not mean.
This is the agreement between you and Beyond Ordinary Software Solutions if you pay to be listed in ReelTuna's advisor directory. It is short because the arrangement is simple: you are buying an advertisement, not an endorsement, and the families who find you are somebody else's clients, not ours.
Version 2026-09-25 · effective September 25, 2026
1. What you are buying
A listing in a directory, for a flat recurring fee. That is the whole of it.
- ReelTuna does not verify you. We do not check your credentials, your registrations, your experience, or anything you say about where you have reach. Your listing says so, in those words, where families read it.
- ReelTuna does not recommend you. There is no ranking, no rating, no "featured" tier, and no position you can buy. The directory is shuffled and reshuffles weekly. When a family filters by school, listings that name those schools come before ones that claim the conference or the division around them — precision, not payment.
- ReelTuna is not a party to your work. Whatever you agree to do for a family, and whatever they pay you for it, is between you and them.
You are described throughout as an advisor, never an agent. If what you do would make you an athlete agent under the law of a state you work in, that is your obligation to know and to meet — including any registration that law requires. Listing here is not a substitute for it and we do not check it.
2. The listing rules
Short enough to keep in your head, and applied the same way every time. Your listing is reviewed against exactly these:
- A real photo of a real person, or the firm's own mark.
- No claimed affiliation with ReelTuna, the NCAA, or any school.
- No guaranteed outcomes — no "placed", "committed", or "scholarship guaranteed".
- No fee quoted as a share of scholarship money.
- Nothing that reads as an offer to contact families first.
- Credentials stated as claims, not as anything ReelTuna has checked.
You may name up to 40 schools you have reach into, and as many conferences or divisions as apply. The cap exists so that naming schools means something: if breadth counted the same as precision, everyone would claim everything and the filter would be worthless. Every claim is dated, and we will ask you to confirm them when your listing renews.
Your photo is re-encoded by our server before it is published. That is what strips the location tag a phone photo carries. What families see is never the file you uploaded.
3. Review, rejection and suspension
Nothing you write is public until a person has read it. Your first listing is reviewed, and so is any later change to your photo, your name, your firm, your headline, your description, or the credentials you claim. Everything else — your reach, whether you are taking clients, your contact details — you change yourself, immediately, without asking anyone.
- If we send it back, you get the reason and the listing returns to your drafts so you can fix it and submit it again.
- If we suspend a live listing, you get the reason. The listing goes private. It is not deleted, and the fee is not refunded. You are agreeing to that now, in this sentence, so that it is not a surprise later.
- We keep a record of who decided and when, for every decision on your listing.
4. How you may deal with families
These athletes are usually minors. The rules below are not preferences; they are how the software is built, and breaking the spirit of them is grounds for suspension even where the software would let you.
- Families write first, always. You cannot start a conversation, you cannot browse athletes, and you cannot see who looked at your listing. There is no feature that does any of those things.
- You are talking to a parent. Conversations belong to the account owner. Do not ask to be put in touch with the athlete directly, and do not ask a family to move the conversation somewhere it is not recorded in order to reach them.
- Do not ask for what you were not given. A family chooses what you can see. Pressing for a transcript, an eligibility-centre number, a phone number for the athlete, or anything else they have withheld is a reason to report you, and families are given a button that does exactly that.
- A reported conversation is read in full by an operator, including everything both sides wrote.
5. What you may see about an athlete
When a family writes to you, you are always shown the athlete's name, their high school, and their graduating class — they chose to write, and a conversation about an anonymous athlete is not a conversation. Beyond that, nothing is shared until the family switches it on, one thing at a time:
- Film: Your athlete's finished reels.
- Measurables: Height, weight, wingspan, position, class of, age.
- Academics: GPA, SAT and ACT.
- School list: The schools you have saved, with your own tier tags.
Each of those can be switched off again at any moment, and doing so removes it from your view on your next page load. You are agreeing not to work around that — not by keeping copies you were told to stop using, and not by asking the family to send you privately what they have turned off here.
Some things are never shared with you whatever a family chooses: the athlete's NCAA Eligibility Center identifier, the parents' own contact details, and any AI-generated grade of their film. Do not ask for them.
6. The fee
- It recurs until you cancel. Cancel from your own billing page and the listing runs to the end of the period you have paid for, then goes private.
- A lapsed payment takes the listing down by itself. Nobody has to intervene. Your listing, your reach and your conversations are all still there when you pay again.
- ReelTuna takes no part of what a family pays you, and never sees it. We do not invoice on your behalf, hold your money, or guarantee that you are paid.
- A suspension is not refunded. Said again here because it belongs in the money section too.
7. Your relationship with a family is yours
You are an independent business. Nothing here makes you an employee, a partner, an agent or a representative of Beyond Ordinary Software Solutions, and you may not describe yourself as any of those, or imply that ReelTuna vouches for you.
You are responsible for what you tell a family, what you charge them, and what happens to the relationship afterwards. If a family has a dispute with you, it is with you. We will cooperate with anything we are legally required to, and we will suspend a listing where these rules were broken, but we are not the forum for it.
8. Ending it
You can stop at any time: cancel the fee, or close the account outright from your account settings. Closing the account removes your listing, your photo, and your reach claims.
The messages in a conversation stay with the family whose conversation it is, even after you go. They are that family's record of what was said to them, and it is not ours to delete on your behalf.
We can end this agreement and remove a listing for a breach of the rules above. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you why first.
9. Governing law and contact
This agreement is governed by the law of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
The terms of service and the privacy statement apply to your use of the site as well; where this agreement and those differ about listings, advisors or the directory, this one governs.
Write to support@beyond-ordinary.com about any of it.
